The Digital Transformation Innovation & Challenge Days allow companies and universities to develop together innovative engineering and IoT solutions based on practical use cases. The DTA-Innovation Challenge Days bring together, in the space of a week, companies, designers, engineers, students and entrepreneurial innovators to transform ideas innovation in prototypes.
On the basis of ;
– A concrete challenge from a company or institution, or
– On proposals for innovation ideas in one of the DTA’s action lines,
participants will design engineering solution models (e.g. Breathing apparatus, circuit or electrical wiring, Agricultural robot, Product processing machine, mobile consultation tablet, smart city prototype, etc.);
Then they will validate them using simulation (3D, CFD, FEM, static/dynamic, etc.). The best prototypes will be printed in 3D to be exhibited and presented at the Ditrex conference.
*Topics of interest: Engineering and IOT in the fields of mechanics, electricity, mechatronics, robotics, automation, etc. and their application in health,urbanization, industrialization, agriculture, renewable energy, sustainable city, mobility, etc.

3D design allows you to present products, designs, ideas and objects in a
totally new perspective that captures the imagination of users or customers. Simulation is a shortcut to the traditional approach, which would consist of physically producing the
part and then subject it to actual physical tests. The manufacture of parts being expensive and
long, virtual simulation saves a lot of time and money. It allows a kind of sequence of virtual tests, in which a design is “virtually tested” using an approximation of real-life conditions. The design is reformulated to
take into account the problems, then re-simulated. This operation continues until the design is
able to handle simulated conditions.
