Mini-bio: Prof. Mbang is the founder of the NGO Digital Transformation Alliance (DTA), a multilateral ecosystem aiming at accelerating technological and digital solutions for the industrialization, sustainable goals and global prosperity.
He launched 2020 the first InnoTechLab, a Research and Technology Innovation Center for Industrialization, Digital Transformation, Education and Entrepreneurship, to create, experiment, test and accelerate end-to-end solutions for crucial societal challenges.
Prof. Dr.-Ing. Mbang is currently heading a management position at Mercedes-Benz AG, where he has comprehensive experience in modeling end-to-end product creation processes, covering product development, Production planning and manufacturing.
He is high-level expert in Technology & Innovation development, digital transformation and digitalization technologies, covering topics such as Artificial Intelligence, Big Data, IoT, VR/AR, Digital Twin, etc. and their applications in industry 4.0.
He has been over 10 years leader of the expert group Virtual Engineering at the EUCAR (European Car Automotive R&D, a branch of European Council for ACEA) and was coordinating during many years the Horizont2020 EU funded project ALLIANCE (Affordable Lightweight Automotive Alliance).
He has studied Mechanical Engineering, deepened in Technical Informatics, Multi Body Systems and Artificial Intelligence and got his PhD in modeling intelligent and integrated process chains. He is Professor and lecturer at the Technical Institute Sofia (Bulgaria), the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (Germany) and the Protestant University of Central Africa in Cameroon.
